Aircraft Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Popular California Coast
A helicopter soaring near a popular California shoreline suddenly commenced twirling out of control, finally losing altitude and plunging into a line of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Footage shared on the internet show the chopper beginning to twirl over the shoreline then falling near the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a steps near the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the pavement were harmed. Details on their wounds were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
