During an announcement, Bondi commended Jay Clayton as “among the nation’s top prosecutors”. The official added, “This case will be addressed with speed and honesty to ensure public transparency.”
This development appears to contradict a recent memorandum from federal authorities which declared that the Epstein files did not warrant additional investigations. According to the memo, authorities “lacked sufficient evidence to pursue cases against other parties.”
