Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for details about his vanished dog Halo to $20,000.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.

the dog, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of where she was last seen.

"Any news about our Halo kindly get in touch with us. Substantial reward for finding her. We are all praying she is safe and comes home with us shortly," the athlete posted on Instagram.

Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Pleas

The footballer initially announced that Halo had vanished two weeks ago and has subsequently shared multiple pictures of the adored dog on Instagram.

A $ten thousand dollar bounty was initially offered, but with absence of information on the dog's location after a week, the player and his loved ones increased the reward.

"All we desire is our pet returned," he expressed in a further request on social media after the elderly pet disappeared.

The most recent photograph upload is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle napping, her head resting in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more Halo."

Family's Anxieties and Context

The footballer has also shared a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "pressing queries" about the disappearance and worry the household "may never receive explanations".

"We have yet to haven't found Halo. It is unlikely we will," his wife's message read.

The Welsh skipper signed with Mexico's premier club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.

The Caerphilly-born athlete is the first well-known British athlete to play in the Liga MX.
